"Every day is an opportunity to create a positive change in your life!"

Hi, I'm Christine!

Welcome to Be Simply Nourished! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Cancer Peace University Instructor and busy mom of two beautiful girls. My interest in food and nutrition began early on when I became part of a 4-H Cooking Club in the ninth grade. I have fond memories of cooking some pretty amazing meals in the kitchen with my mom. What I enjoyed even more than cooking, was sharing the nutritional benefits of the meals I prepared with the judges when competing at county and state fairs. Little did I know this valuable childhood experience would lead me to Oregon State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition Science. Shortly thereafter, I completed my dietetic internship and became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for over 15 years, I have significant experience in providing medical nutrition therapy for a variety of clients. Both personal and professional experience have inspired me to create Be Simply Nourished. I felt drawn to niche in cancer after my own mother’s cancer diagnosis. My business is dedicated to the loving memory of my beautiful mother. I can truly empathize with those undergoing a cancer diagnosis. I am passionate about providing optimal nutrition support and guiding emotional roots exercises throughout a client’s cancer journey. I became a Cancer Peace University (CPU) Instructor after completing the practitioner program designed by the founder and CEO of Cancer Peace University, Megan Van Zyl, PhD Hon, MA, NTP. As a CPU Instructor, I support cancer clients from a physical, emotional and spiritual perspective. I offer an empowering “Uplifted” program with the Cancer Peace University’s curriculum. I am beyond grateful and excited to be working alongside a community of instructors with the same mission in mind:

Setting you Free From the Fear of Cancer!
